HUGE BASS

This was another great week on Headwaters Lake. Most of my fish came out of 6ft to 10ft of water. The big fish of this week was a 10.5 pound and 27.5 inch fish caught in 8ft of water on a Bass Assassin RSB Redbug Worm. The rod of choice was a Halo 7’6” Heavy action with Vicious 50lb no fade braid. The bass are also hitting topwater poppin frogs and the Launch Frog by Scum Frog in the darker colors fished next to the Lilly pads or reeds that are in a 4’ to 6’ of water. This coming week will be much of the same, so if you like topwater action give me a call at 772-494-7400 to book your trip.

If you are in need of the lake maps for Headwaters, Stick Marsh, Garcia, Kenansville, or Blue Cypress stop in Fellsmere Outdoor Adventures and they have several different map sizes for your boat or home. Also, check out the Hooked on Headwaters YouTube report for great information from the crew.
