Raffi with a Bull Red!
Great week of snook and Red fishing. The bait returned and the bite at Sebastian Inlet was good around the full moon. We got our fill in before the holiday and snook season openers showed up! We fished north and found some tarpon, sharks and kingfish on finger mullet but the bite was a little slow with a few sharks and jacks. We missed a tarpon bite but we only had one out of all the fish we ran across. It will be interesting to see how this tropical system changes the fishing patterns. Will it get the mullet run going or help push in the redfish? I’m heading out of town the latter part of the week, but will be looking forward to identifying the result.
