We’ve had a busy couple weeks despite the COVID-19 scare, but trips are slowing a lot over the next few weeks as folks can’t travel. The inshore bite has been pretty good with plenty of trout, some snook, and there are still some big pompano around. Winds are down and we have some blacktips and tarpon on the beach, which are feeding on the Spanish mackerel, jacks and bluefish that are schooling on and around the bait pods.

The inlet bite has picked up a bit with a lot of undersized snook hitting greenies and we’ve also been catching a number of redfish on pigfish, greenies and pins. Meanwhile, sheephead and snapper are abundant in the river around the docks and structure.

We have a lot of availability as most of our customers that have cancelled are from out of town. BUT we are still getting into some really good fishing. Don’t miss out and get out and get in on the action!
