Nikolaj and his son Mathias came from Belgium and jumped a few tarpon and caught a bunch of Sharks, Jacks, Mackerel and Bonito off the beach!

It was a busy Thanksgiving week, fishing inshore and nearshore a couple days when the weather would allow. A lot of North wind made us find cover from the wind and a little rain, but we found plenty of trout, jacks and ladyfish with a few snook and reds on artificial. We also found a few good Flounder as well as some pompano around the mangroves and spoil islands. The islands all have some new features and a few less trees around them from Hurricane Nicole, which will change the patterns of how to fish them.

Nearshore there have been plenty of Mackerel, Bluefish Jacks and some ladyfish as well as some sharks and a few tarpon. With the action nearshore it’s time for those 100 fish days.
