redfish

It’s been blowing hard for the last few days but the redfish bite before the blow was really good. Most of the bigger fish are still running the near-coastal waters right now but I have started to see more big reds returning to the flats of the Banana River since these heavy easterly winds have commenced. Live pogies and croakers are working best on the near coastal fish. On the flats, the reds prefer dead fingerling mullet.
Tarpon action was hot the last day before the blow. Giant schools of tarpon are cruising the beaches and a frisky live pogie will get them to strike!

If you want to get out and chase some of these big time game fish give captain Justin or I a call at 321-505-8217 or book your trip with us on our website FinelineFishingCharters.com
