A couple dolphin caught offshore Port Canaveral this week

Happy Monday, everybody. We hope everybody had a great weekend fishing, it looks like the bite was on at the beach. A lot of whiting, small red fish and black drum were reported being caught.

In the river the shrimp are still running good, as far as the fishing goes there still catching a lot of mangrove snapper around the bridges, Mathers Bridge is still holding some nice redfish, a few trout, and some sheepshead along with mangrove snapper.

For the offshore bite out to 400-foot, it’s been kind of slow with the dolphin but still a few nice ones are being caught. There’s also been reports of a sailfish or two that have been caught.

On Thursday May 3rd we will be closed, FPL is changing out the power poles and lines that connect to Man Overboard Bait and Tackle so we will not have power for a while and we won’t be able to order any live bait for that day. We will be back open Friday morning. Have a great week from all of us here at Man Overboard Bait and Tackle.
