inlet snook

Joe from New Jersey with a nice over slot snook!

Decent weather after the full moon provided a lot of action along the beach and in the lagoon. There’s been plenty of schools of jacks along the beach with sharks mixed in. The inshore reefs have decent numbers of snapper and sheephead on them with live shrimp being the best bait. Inshore rock piles are holding snapper, grouper and some moon fish.

redfish

Nice redfish for Bryces brother

Snook and trout are inshore around the deeper docks mangrove shorelines and along the flats. DOA Jerk baits are working well as are live greenies. The inlet bite has been good on Mojarra and greenies while the jacks are thick and eating anything you throw out; the redfish, however, have been pretty sporadic.

The high winds from the current cold front chased us off the water this weekend but look forward to get back on the beach early next week.
