Only one day of fishing last week. Somehow I messed my back up last week but managed to fish through it. My blessings, for doing so made it really hard to actually stand up straight and was in constant pain, so I took it real easy on myself except for Friday. We were on the New Moon period and, as most of us freshwater enthusiasts, we’re really excited for Florida spawning time.
We did a lot of searching off the beaten path as my buddy has a lightweight aluminum boat and can just about go anywhere with it. To say the least, we found two areas with a Mother Load of beds in them. All we caught were the males, but I believe all that will change for next week’s full moon. This weeks weather has quite a bit of wind for the forecast but if you can find protective areas, it should be great fishing!
