I am fortunate that I live within walking distance to a beach access. If you can get to the beach, the fish are there. Started late this morning around 10 AM. The day started with several bonnet-head sharks plenty of catfish a pompano and whiting mixed in. After 12 noon, the bite picked up and the catfish and sharks seemed to leave and whiting and a few pompano moved in. Caught several undersized pompano and a few palometa as well. As I was just about out of fleas, I started wrapping things up a bit after 2 PM. While putting everything on my cart, sand fleas started becoming visible and abundant so I gathered enough for a few more outings this week!
Where are those sand fleas? Can find any in IHB.
Too close to the renourishment project in IHB… Ghost is fishing in Melbourne Beach, I believe.
