The FSFA’s 51st Annual Offshore Tournament is officially in the books! It was a wet and wild event on Saturday, for sure. The monsoon that unloaded all the fury of the gods on the weigh-in at Port Canaveral certainly took us by surprise. Consequently, for the first time in the event’s 51 year history, we were unable to present the Awards and Payouts at the Weigh-in. Apart from the weather-induced chaos, it was a great day of fishing as 102 total teams competed, and with plenty of impressive fish hitting the scales at Sunrise Marina.
The winner of the Big Fish Grand Prize in the amount of $5,000 is RELENTLESS, the boat that weighed the heaviest fish, a 46.2 lb grouper. SEAS THE DAY was the General Slam Winner ($3,000) with a dolphin, kingfish, and grouper weighing in at a total of 62.5 lb.
