mosquito lagoon redfish

The bite has been pretty good throughout the Mosquito Lagoon waters. We are coming off the back side of the full moon along with a lot of rain this past week, which has created higher then usual water conditions. The higher water has pushed the redfish and trout up into the shallows of the Lagoon for a chance at new food source. The recent rain fall has definitely got the tarpon active throughout the intracoastal and inlets.

It looks like we may have a little system trying to start something over Central FL the next few days so the bite may slow a little if it dumps as much rain as they are calling for. But, we do live in Florida, and the forecast is never the same within a hour.
