huge jack caught off the beach at Sebastian Inlet with Capt. Glyn Austin

The creeks from Melbourne to Sebastian have been pretty good with a lot of tarpon, trout, jacks as well as plenty of snook and Bull sharks from 3-6ft in length. Best baits are live mullet during the day as well as storm coastal soft plastics and topwater early morning and late afternoon.

Inshore bite has been pretty good as the water has cleared up a lot and there are a lot of mullet and some pilchards throughout the lagoon. Sight fishing is prime now with the clean clear water. Topwater early and live pilchards and mullet throughout the day. If you are an artificial guy, use soft plastics or subsurface baits.

The mackerel are still on the beach and in the inlet with some blues and jacks and kingfish mixed in. Also some schools of tarpon, permit, snook and black drum in the trough from Melbourne Beach down to Sebastian.
