Not a lot has changed in fishing, with the bite remaining very similar to last week. At Port Canaveral, they are still getting some nice tripletail and cobia. When the wind backs off enough to target the surf, anglers are catching black drum, redfish, margate and whiting. The pompano are starting to show up, too. We heard of some decent catches south in Melbourne Beach. Meanwhile, the river and canals around Satellite and Indian Harbour Beach are holding a lot of mangrove snapper, black drum and some really nice speckled trout.
