Boyd still getting it done at 81 years old with a nice redfish!
Had a good week fishing off the beach and in the inlet. Lots of bait along the beaches and the Kingfish, mackerel, sharks and Bonito were mixed in well. Kingfish were plentiful and hitting on live bait and artificial baits throughout the week. Plenty of spanish Mackerel, Bluefish Sharks, and ladyfish mixed in as well. Soft plastics or jigs worked well for all of those species as well. Inlet bite was decent with some Redfish and jacks with a few pompano mixed in. Live bait were best for the reds and jacks and pompano and jacks were eating jigs.

The inshore bite has been good with live bait for snook around the islands and mangroves. Trout and jacks were plentiful as well. Winds and seas are up this week so getting off the beach may be tough. But, the inshore bite should only get better from here on out.
