What a great, calm week on the water! Red snapper was another joke of a success! Thank you to SAMFC for opening it up. You guys rock! I hope everyone helped with the FWC studies.
Bunker are all over and as thick as could be. From the jetty to the pier! Ten to twelve foot net with 15-18 lb of lead and your set. Kings are on local reefs in record numbers. The big ones are down south on the pines. Big baits, big fish! Use live bait OR minnows — it honestly does not seem to matter. Chicken rigging is producing some beautiful sea bass and triggers on cut squid. Good luck!
