Sebastian inlet snook

Jimmy with an over spot snook caught in the inlet with Capt. Glyn.

We had a great week fishing the inlet and the beaches. The redfish and snook bite was pretty good to end this last week. Live greenies were good baits, but we got our fish on pigfish and pinfish. There’s been plenty of big jacks along with the snook and reds, and we even got some of the bigger bluefish over 10 lbs.

Inshore, the fishing has been hit or miss with some trout being caught around the spoil islands and mangroves. It’s been tough to get them to bite with the clear water, but there are some big trout around, as is usual, in the spring time. The best bet to target the inshore snook, redfish and trout is by using live greenies or mullet in the early morning and freelance them along docks and mangrove points along the shorelines or the spoil islands.
