First, all of us at Man Overboard Bait and Tackle would like to say Happy Father’s Day weekend to all the fathers out there!
In the river and canals, the mangroves are still snapping, a lot of small trout are also being caught. In the surf, a lot of whiting, sheepshead and margate are tugging on the line.
For the offshore bite there are a lot of Amber jacks in the 90 ft range along with scattered dolphin. Nearshore, the snapper bite is still good south of Sebastian Inlet, and while you’re out there keep an eye out in the chum line for that elusive Cobia. Ray caught a nice one in the photo above, and he also had a nice battle with a big jack crevalle.
