sheepshead Indian river

The past week provided a huge variety of fish for Captain Justin and myself. Mangrove snapper, crevalle jack, ladyfish, snook, redfish, speckled trout and even a baby tarpon came aboard our boats to pose for a quick photo and release session with our charter guests. Live shrimp have been our go to natural bait for this week. Saltwater Assassin 4-inch Sea Shad and Rapala Subwalk and Twichin’ Mullet have been our choices for artificial lures.

With the incredible warm spell we are expecting a great bite to occur through the end of this week as well. There may be options for cobia and tripletail along the near-shore waters if the seas cooperate and the giant redfish could also be waiting for us once we head back outside to look for them. If any of these species interest you give us a call or go to our website and find an available date for us to get you out on the water.
