In Satellite Beach, the river and the canals are holding lots of mangrove snapper. There’s still some snook being caught along with sheepshead. The surf fisherman are starting to catch a few Pompano, redfish and tarpon along the beach. In and around Port Canaveral, anglers are still catching some nice redfish and jacks. The offshore fisherman are catching some dolphin in 230 ft of water, and the bottom fisherman are catching some mangrove snapper, a few mutton snapper, and a lot of short Cobia — but if you put the time in, you will get a keeper.
