The river up by 528 is holding some really nice black drum and red drum. Around Mathers Bridge, the mangrove snapper are still being caught. There’s a lot of small ones, but if you put the time in, you’ll find some keepers. In the Grant area, they’re catching a few snook and some nice reds, with the choice of bait being live shrimp. Speaking of shrimp, it looks like the shrimp are still running hard! Stop in and see us — I still have a few dip Nets left and, yes, they are the three section nets that you can dip the shrimp off the bridge and take him home for a shrimp cocktail.

Port Canaveral has been holding some nice flounder they’ve been catching them on live shrimp. For the beach Angler, fishing has been spotty there has been some Pompano being caught on sand fleas and clams but a lot of shorts. The Whiting and blues are still hanging in there along with some Margate. For the offshore Anglers we got our wish: the dolphin bite has started, from the reports there was a nice weed line in 120 foot holding dolphin. Don’t forget to take some time out from trolling because the bottom bite is prime for the big mangrove snappers I’ve been snapping.

Have a great weekend from all of us at Man Overboard Bait and Tackle.
