It’s been another week of mixed fishing and mixed species. In the Mosquito Lagoon, the trout bite has been the most consistent with Saltwater Assassin Sea Shad and live pigfish being the two most productive things to cast.
Along the beaches tarpon, shark, king mackerel, bonito and Spanish mackerel are the species we have been getting the most of. Live pilchards and greenies seem to be working best for all of them. The tarpon will only get better over the next few weeks so if you want to catch a “Silver King” or any of the others that we are getting please contact us for our available dates.
