The fishing still continues to be good throughout the Mosquito Lagoon, yielding a great mixture of species like redfish, trout, snook and jacks. Live bait and artificials have both been working well. Look for the waters to be a little crowded for a bit as we get through the first few weeks snook season.
The near shore bite has been pretty good as well with big jacks, Bonita, tarpon and sharks scattered about. Cut bait and live bait have been working well out there.
