Leo from Chile with a nice fat trout!

Despite the wind and rain we’ve had some very good days of fishing from Grant through Sebastian and Vero. Inshore has been the only option 95% of the time with the exception of a few days you could get outside the inlet. Plenty of trout available in the lagoon and we’ve had a few days where we have caught 50-100 trout or more on artificial. Throw in a couple slot and over slot reds along with a couple snook and its a pretty good time.

Franco from Chile with a nice snook!

Weather looks to calm down thanksgiving day so expect crowds on the water for the holiday weekend. The inlet will be packed with snook fishermen with the nice weather. Pinfish and pig fish will be great baits. With the nice weather, we should also be able to get off the beach for some mackerel, pompano and bluefish, as well. It should be a nice change from the heavy winds and rain we’ve had for the last few weeks, that’s for sure.
