Fishing wasn’t that great offshore this week. The water got very dirty and it was muddy all the way out to 27. It was slow on the Mahi bite compared to last week, but we did have a few chunky blackfins. Bait was scarce this week, as well — maybe due to “red tide,” but who knows. We still managed a few days of decent king fishing on the reef and some went to 30 lbs. All were caught on spinning minnows. We also did a bunch of catch and release on the ARS, and had it going pretty easy on the typical minnow knocker rigs. We didn’t find any cobia this week, either. This week is forecasting better weather, so hopefully the ocean will calm down and clean up. Good luck!
