tarpon fishing sebastian

Longtime Client/Friend George came down from South Carolina for some beach tarpon and wasn’t disappointed!

Early week heavy winds let us fish the inlet and the beach comfortably, but picked up mid week only to subside for the weekend of snapper fishing. Tarpon and Bonito on the beaches provided plenty of action. Meanwhile, redfish were pretty active in the inlet, and when winds were heavier, we got into some nice snook around the spoil islands and deeper docks.

Captain Noah had a blast chasing tarpon on the beach. While he lost a couple big tarpon he had a blast catching the Bonito that were running up and down the beach!

We only fished one day of snapper season and got our limits pretty quick. The red snapper were mostly small, but we also got some vermillion and lane snapper, as well as some triggerfish and almaco jack. We also released a short cobia. The other few days of snapper season were spent Tarpon fishing the beaches around the inlet where the bite was pretty good with DOA lures and live bait.
