Sebastian redfish

We had heavy winds once again for most of the week, but they calmed for the weekend. The inlet bite has still been good with a lot of slot redfish on pinfish and mullet. Snook were a little slower, but there were a few caught each day on pinfish, pigfish and finger mullet. There has also been a lot of big jacks in the inlet, which are always fun.

The inshore bite from Palm Bay down to Sebastian has been good on topwater early and soft plastics as the day moves on. Plenty of trout and Jacks with some reds and snook in the mix. There has been a lot of spanish mackerel in the lagoon feeding on glass minnows around the spoil islands, as well.

It looks like more wind in the forecast this week, so keep fishing schools of bait along the lee shorelines. You should be out of the wind and find decent numbers of fish.
