Well some weeks are magic and some weeks are tragic. This was a tragic one. Everything just shut down as soon as the full moon was at peak. The bite was off until late afternoon, and in some cases not even then. I heard stories of crystal clear water where you could see the fish, and you couldn’t get a response from them even by thunking them on the head with the bait. It seems water temperature fluctuation also is playing a part.

Only heard of very slim catches everywhere, even from our guides. Offshore a few Lane snapper. Inshore caught a couple trout along the barrier island shoreline. The jetties also have not been producing anything worth talking about. Sorry folks. We don’t make up stories to make it seem things are better than what they really are. You get the straight story here. Hoping for better times next week!
