The trout bite has been slow this week, and even so on live bait. I expect fortunes to turn around, however, between now and the full moon (July 23rd). We have still been doing pretty well with snook, though. They’ve been eating topwater and bait balls around edges of mangroves. The tarpon bite remains on FIRE and we’ve been consistently producing some nice fish on mullet, croakers, and artificial lures.
