This week the nighttime snook bite at Port Canaveral has been solid! I caught this slot snook measuring 31″ using a Yozuri Crystal Minnow Olive Green color and my buddy got a 31.5″ snook on a jumbo shrimp fishing the north jetty.
In the lagoon, the trout bite has been great using both live and cut mullet.
Haulover Canal is still producing big black drum and redfish. Use live blue crabs and frozen shrimp as the smell from frozen helps them find the bait in the murky water. At Playalinda Beach they are catching big whiting on fresh dead shrimp fishing them on a traditional pompano rig.
