Both Jesse and myself have been running trips all week with the spring break crowd and a lot of kids. Favorite trips to take because the kids always have a lot of fun. The inlet bite for pompano, jacks, bluefish and Mackerel has been strong. Goofy Jigs have been been working great as have the Storm 360GT Paddle tail and jerk Baits. The trout bite inshore along the mangroves and islands was great early week and tapered off a bit towards the end of the week. Rapala Twitchin Mullet and Minnow have been good baits or live shrimp work well.

Off the beach the Blues and Mackerel have been biting good with Pompano and ladyfish mixed in. We have been able to get out bit, but the winds and rough surf kept us off the beach a few days this week. Theres even a few Kingfish mixed in with the Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish. The schools of the big blues have been hit or miss but Jesse managed to get a few this weekend.

Looking forward to calm seas and these fronts to disappear so we can get back out off the beach and search for the schools of Jacks as well as the tarpon that are beginning to migrate north.

Should be a great week ahead!
