Temperatures inshore have started to level off. Cool mornings and evenings with comfortable mid day temperatures has been making for pleasant fishing conditions. We have had some higher then average water conditions due to this recent low pressure dumping several inches of rain. Look for the fish to be holding in and around the bait in places the water is usually extremely low. Water temps are cooling a bit so if using artificials slow your retrieves a bit and smaller baits have been working well. Live bait has been working well also like pin fish, mullet and shrimp. The water clarity been fairly good throughout Mosquito Lagoon and if temperatures continue will only get better throughout winter.
