redfish mosquito lagoon

The weather is continuing to warm and become more stable. I definitely believe summer is upon us and that will put our fish into their summer time patterns. Look for the redfish and trout to hold up in the shallows early in the morning milling around with the schools of bait fish. As the water starts to heat up later in the day, they will start to move off to the slightly deeper ledges. The snook will continue to hang around the structure in the north Mosquito Lagoon and Indian River. Spoons, soft plastics and plugs have all been working well along with live shrimp and finger mullet.

The weather looks like it will continue to be good throughout the week and continue to get warmer.
