tripletail

This week’s warming trend has really turned the bite on, despite the fact that the moon phase has been a little lacking for morning charters. It seems like it’s created a more consistent bite throughout the day as opposed to just on the major and minor moon phases.

Along the nearshore waters bluefish, tripletail, Spanish mackerel, flounder and pompano seem to be the most consistent catches this week with our fishing charter clients.

King mackerel and a few cobia are also showing up out on the 70 to 90-foot reefs. As long as we have a good consistent calm weather patterns this bike should continue well through the upcoming new year. Anyone interested in getting out and learning how to fish for any of the species or just wanting to bring the family and friends out during the holidays can give us a call and we will try to fit you into our schedule.
