pat redfish

It seems as though we have received a little shot of fall weather these past couple of days. It’s been a little crispy in the mornings and a high of 85. To us Floridians, 85 is fall ????. The new found weather has not effected the fishing at all. We have been boating several redfish, snook and jacks this past week in the Mosquito and North Indian River Lagoon. We have had a influx of water in the area this past week, spreading the fish up in areas not commonly accessed. With a good amount of bait in the area, throwing plugs early morning has been working well. After the sun gets a little higher moving to some live bait like finger mullet or pin fish has also been working well.

Hopefully the weather continues to hold out and the rain stay away for at least the next week .
