What a week! The mahi have showed up in much higher numbers and they are eating just fine! Smaller baits seem to be preferable at the moment. Wahoos and sailfish with a tuna surprise are all part of the norm right now. Anywhere from 220 feet to 600 feet has been the best bet. The stream had a beautiful line on it all week. Great color change, temp change and current. The reef is still pretty dirty with the whale snot and cold water, so no kings right now. Cobia have really slowed down, too. So for everyone out there who feel the only edible fish in the ocean is a mahi and wahoo, the time is now! Get on out there and catch one.
