Around the lagoon in Satellite beach, anglers targeting the bridges, mangroves and docks are catching trout, sheepshead, black drum and mangrove snapper. Further down south, shrimp remain a hot target. People are netting them around Sebastian working the channels.
Port Canaveral is producing great nearshore action, holding some nice redfish and black drum along with some sheepshead and pompano. Offshore, the bottom bite is doing well for mangrove snapper and lane snapper, and the occasional cobia is popping up.Also the shrimp have showed up in the lagoons.
