Chris with a nice Tarpon and Snook on the day!

Still working on the Snook and Tarpon on the beach down in Sebastian. Tarpon have slowed a bit and the snook bite isn’t on fire, but the fish are feeding pretty well. Late in the tide has been best but things can change with the weather coming through and the rainstorms turn on the bite at times. Inshore has been pretty good with live bait. Picked up a bunch of Trout from 20-27” as well as a slot red and several smaller snook mid week on live pigfish around the mangroves and a couple docks in Grant up to Palm Bay. Tarpon inshore has been decent in Mathers Cove as well as outside of Turkey Creek and Crane Creek. Heavy rains have the tarpon on the move and feeding in the lagoon.

The upcoming week should be pretty good as the water will be flowing out of the Creeks from Sebastian to Melbourne and the bait will be coming with the water. There has been a lot of mullet in the lagoon as well as Glass Minnows and Pilchards. If you can find the docks and shorelines with bait there will be plenty of Trout and Snook mixed in along with some juvenile tarpon and a few redfish. The jacks and ladyfish will be mixed in as well.
