WEATHER OVERVIEW: This week we will experience an ebb and flow of weather patterns, especially as it pertains to wind direction. We begin the week with winds out of the S. The higher winds will make it tough to get offshore in the beginning of the week. However, Thursday looks like there may be a small weather window with the wind picking up again later in the evening. Both Wednesday and Thursday are projecting a 50% chance of PM thunderstorms. Friday, the will pick back up as it switches direction out of the N. This will bring our high temperatures down some as we move into the weekend. Saturday looks like the next weather window for this week and just in time for the Central Florida Shootout fishing tournament taking place on Saturday. Right now, the projection is sunny skies and high temps in the mid to low 80’s. It’s not going to be flat calm, it could even be a little sporty running out in the morning depending on the size of your boat but peak fishing hours it looks like it could be pretty nice. The wind is currently showing ENE for Saturday. Sunday, the wind switches out if the ESE and picks up again which could make getting offshore Sunday tough.
