The coronavirus lockdown is sort-of ending, but it’s as good a time as ever to practice some social distancing on the water. This past weekend saw a HUGE opening to grouper season, and we’ve got a lot more to look forward to in the coming weeks with tarpon, snook, and kingfish action expected to take off on the beach…
IN THIS WEEK’S FORECAST…
SPACE B.O.I. FORECAST
WEATHER OVERVIEW: What a beautiful weekend we just experienced. With grouper season opening up the weather cooperated and we witnessed many great catches of these hard fighting fish. This week, the lower winds and nice weather will continue through Wednesday. Thursday, our next cool front moves in as the wind will switch out of the N and increase Thursday and Friday before decreasing again and switching back out of the WSW Saturday. Sunday, the wind will pick up and shift out of the E as rain chances increase to 60%. If you are trying the get offshore, it appears the first part of the week will be your best bet.
