I've ALWAYS wanted to live in Florida and become a salt water fisherman. In the last few year, I have started on this dream and it has been incredible! I consider being on the water the best part, catching fish is a welcome bonus. I learn something new every trip. I am grateful to all of the local Fisherman and Captains who always give good tips!
Swinging for Flounder
Offshore was too rough for us on Saturday, so my wife, niece, and I decided to try and catch some of the famed Sebastian Inlet Flounder. We tried 4 different spots West of the bridge, 2 on the North side and 2 on the South Side. We used a mix of Shrimp (hooked in several different presentations) and mud minnows. Unfortunately, we did not have any luck on Flounder.
December Offshore Bottom Fishing
My wife and I enjoyed a very nice day on the water this past Saturday. We headed out from Sebastian and in route to the reefs, spotted a dolphin breaching! A first for us. He was nice enough to do 3 repeat performances in quick succession. 🙂
