The mahi bite has picked up out of the Port!
Fishing offshore has really picked up for the Mahi and smaller, but great eating smaller fish, like vermillion snapper and triggerfish. We’re also pulling a few AJs in the mix on the bottom, as well. If you’re gunning for the mahi, focus your efforts on the rips from 180-240′ depths.
Nearshore fishing is on fire for sharks and bull reds, alike. The mullet are still running so it remains GAME ON off the beach! Match the hatch if possible, but large chunk baits work just as well for all these scavengers. Some nice snook have come over the rails, as well.
