Not much of a week offshore… I think we got blown out 6/7 days. The few days mother nature allowed us to roll, we did decent. I’m sure a charter from Wyoming would say we did great, but not for our standards, anyways. Beeliners, triggers, vermilion and plenty of red snapper were the hot targets. Chicken rigging is where it’s been at. As far as your strike fish, it was not so hot, scattered kings and a few sails are starting to show themselves. If you are not aware, this is the time of year the Blackfin tuna, sails and big kings show up, from now till mid January. Then, you can expect our global warming to start the cobia season towards the end of January and February. Joking…. but I’m serious on when they show up. If you noticed, no more March madness cobia… It’s fallout February! The Wombs have started to show up in the bight, use live bunker for them. Bunker have been abundant so you can’t miss them. Sharks have been going strong still as well. Good luck!
