Annnnndddd the very first fish caught aboard the new Under Fire boat was a chunk of a tuna! Slow fishing and tight seas made it a little tough but overall a great day with Jeff and Corey.
Absolutely awesome fishing once again. No complaints. The king mackerel bite is on fire and its pretty much as hot as it can get! This time of year the migration/breed keeps them chewing, so they are not at all picky. They will literally eat pretty much anything you toss out there. Chicken rigging is also killing it. Once you’re done with your limit on kings, move offshore and hit the bottom. Beeliners, porgies, and triggers are plentiful right now. Nearshore is still going decent with big reds and sharks.
