A banner week! Well, not the entire week due to mother nature, but every day we got out, it was pretty decent fishing. Grouper and AJs were great! Big baits were the key for this. Red Snappa jigging and AJ jigging was fun, too. Use 6oz butterfly jigs. The spinning rods took a beating, lol. And what we all been awaiting on, can you guess? MAHI…..no, just kidding. The KINGS showed up on the reef. forget those stupid green things! Unless your a baller and can get to the OTHERSIDE, don’t waste your time. You’ll catch more green fish bottom fishing having them swim up to the boat on you, or by getting lucky and stumbling upon a tree loaded up with them. Now I know you can’t eat kings, but man they are fun to catch (just kidding)! I’ll take a fresh slab of Grills famous blacked king any day! If you have any doubt about its deliciousness, just go try it yourself.
