NOAA Fisheries will close the 2021 recreational harvest of golden tilefish in federal waters of the South Atlantic on September 20, 2021.
The closure is occurring because reports indicate that recreational landings have reached the established catch limit set for the year (2,316 fish). Recreational harvest of these fish will resume January 1, 2022.
