For the most part this was a pretty good week of fishing. The reefs and a few wrecks seemed to hold fish. If you’re passing a wreck, stop and try it. You never know. The guys caught a decent number of blackfins this week doing just that. The downrigger on the wrecks set around 40 feet seemed to do well. We’ve had some odd water currents and some varying water temps, so you may have to find that sweet spot in the water column. Live bunkers always seem to do the trick. Sometimes it’s not the easiest to net… The earlier, the better, to get them schooled up. We haven’t really bottom fished this week so no reports on that.
