Nice inshore snook for Colin!

Had a few good weeks of fishing since my last report. We were able to get offshore for a few days and, despite the water being dirty, the Red snapper, Lane Snapper and sheepshead are thick. Nearshore, there are still some bluefish and Spanish Mackerel, but again, the water is dirty. We are finally seeing the shark migration and the blacktips are hitting topwater plugs and live bait.

In the inlet, the Snook bite is slow and the bluefish are chewing up a lot of baits; some redfish and jacks are hitting live bait, though. If you are looking for a good meal, the sheepshead are hitting live shrimp and fiddler crabs in the lagoon and Sebastian River. The trout bite has been hit or miss in the lagoon, but Storm jerk baits and ABOA Dart spins have been working best for me the last week.
