WEATHER OVERVIEW: Fall is in the air, well maybe not just yet. Today (Tuesday) is beautiful with low winds out of the WSW and high temps around 83 degrees. Don’t get used to it, though; starting Wednesday our next cold front pushes in and will remain throughout the week and into the weekend. Rain chances go up to about 50% and high temps will float between the mid to low 70’s. Unfortunately, the wind will keep us from getting offshore (except for today). The lagoons have been producing well and so has the Canaveral Bight — if you can find shelter from the wind. The mangrove shorelines in all three lagoons (Banana, Indian River and Mosquito) have been producing nice mixed bags of trout, redfish, black drum, snook, mangrove snapper and sheepshead so that should be good place to target this week.
