A CENTRAL FLORIDA FISHING FORECAST EVERY TUESDAY
Fired Up Charters is putting some smoker kings in the boat this week.
Hopefully you didn’t spend too much time on the couch watching Shark Week, because the REAL show has been available live right here on the beach, and with about 72 miles of front row seating available. Between the tarpon and mackerel, the KINGS have just been feasting on the beach, and there’s nothing like watching these big beauties smash through bait pods right beyond the shore break. We’ve been talking about it for well over a month now, and by all accounts, this beach bite just keeps getting better and better. But if fishing the Atlantic isn’t your jam, don’t worry — you, too, can get on some exhilarating, king-crushing action — without leaving the lagoon. In this week’s report, Capt. Alex Hughey says it’s tarpon time and explains what he’s doing to find and fight the silver kings that are currently running rampant inshore…
IN THIS WEEK’S FORECAST…
SPACE B.O.I. FORECAST
- Mangrove/Lane Snapper
WEATHER OVERVIEW: If you’re getting tired of dodging these rampant rainstorms, you are not alone! Continue to keep an eye on these isolated thunderstorms this week. Rain is good but no one wants to get caught on the water in one of these nasty storms. A SW to WSW wind will persist throughout the week. It will be HOT, but at least the wind should not limit fishing opportunity too much. Moving into the weekend, the weather looks especially favorable, so let’s get out there and make it happen, captain!
