SecondGenGator May 6, 2020 at 1:12 pmLog in to Reply I caught a nice mangrove on Monday morning on a while gulp shrimp along the Rockledge side of the IR. It was by far my biggest and was around 13 inches. I have caught smaller ones as well. I am thinking about targeting mangroves. Do you think a chum bag would help increase my luck catching them. Do you have any advice for catching them? Thanks SecondGenGator ReelGangsta May 6, 2020 at 5:02 pmLog in to Reply I like using crusher jigs 1/8 oz made by yellowtail fever tipped with clams, squid, shrimp and if you know where to find it…Boston Mackerel. The bmack I rig with a 2/0 hook and use pieces. Chumming will likely work great, but I’d be living if I said I’ve done it before. Check out brevard spearfishing videos on YouTube. You’ll get a great idea of what is down there. ReelGangsta May 6, 2020 at 6:08 pmLog in to Reply Meant lying…lol SecondGenGator May 7, 2020 at 8:21 amLog in to Reply Hey Gansta-thanks for the reply!
